WILD DUNES 2009 SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM
A 12 Hour Scientific Program
Wild Dunes, Isle of Palms, South Carolina

OBJECTIVES

The registered physicians represent a broad spectrum of medical interests. This course is designed to provide information about current significant medical topics, including the latest trends in diagnosis, treatment, and social impact of prevalent diseases. It is especially designed to provide an update for physicians in areas other than their respective specialities.

ACCREDITATION

This activity has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 12 Prescribed Credits for the American Academy of Familiy Physicians. When reporting CME credit hours, AAFP members should report Total Prescribed and Elective hours earned for this activity. It is not necessary for members to label credit hours as evidence-based CME Prescribed or Elective for CME reporting purposes.

In step with evolving medical concepts in Medical Education we are embracing CPD (Continuous Professional Development) which incorporates CME as well as managerial, social, and personal issues for physicians and other health care professionals, rather than limiting our presentations to strictly disease oriented topics. This step has been taken to more meaningfully address AMTA's widely diverse specialty physician membership.
