Our return trip to Kingsmill Resort was beyond our expectations. First of all, the weather was ideal all week! The resort is especially suited to meetings and interaction among members for meals with views of the James River and tennis viewing with patio seating.
On Monday night, members John and June Wendell Hosted a cocktail party at their lovely home that overlooks the James River. This was a wonderful way to start out the week giving everyone a chance to get acquainted early.
Two new members attended this meeting and a third was scheduled but had to cancel due to illness. 25 doctors from 18 states plus Canada and England were represented, a truly diverse group joining to play tennis and talk medicine.
