INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETING THE HOME-PORTION OF CME

(1) Access the web address http://www.aafp.org/afp2005.xml (the screen should look like the image below)

(2) Once you access that page, click on link for January 1 edition “Jan 1; 71(1): 1-208”

(3) Next click on and review each article (4 of them) (On the right of each article title is the option for using a PDF version, which I suggest is the best format to print the article if you would like a paper copy.)

(4) After reviewing each article return to the page where articles are listed (us “Back” button in your browser)

(5) Scroll down to READERS SERVICES

(6) Click on the link for “Clinical Quiz”

(7) Scroll down to 1 January 2005 quiz and click on link

(8) Answer the questions

(9) Click on “Check Your Answers” found at the bottom of the quiz

(10) Highlight the text of the quiz by clicking on Edit at the top of your computer screen and click on “select all”

(11) Print the Quiz by clicking on “file” at the top of your computer screen then click “Print” and “OK”

(12) Bring the Quiz to our meeting and hand in with your name on the quiz

(13) Attend the review of the articles with discussion from the group and personal input from your experience in medical practice
