The Mount Washington Hotel & Resort meeting was just completed June 22-27, 2003. 22 physicians & spouses, plus several children and 2 guests converged on Bretton Woods, New Hampshire. N.H. decided to have a heat wave in June which is quite rare considering they don't have air-conditioning!!! Lucky there is a river right next to the tennis courts and many cooled down in the river. The hotel was built in l908, and we experienced early N.H. society living in the country. Many rode the cog railway up and down the mountain powered by coal. The down trip was pretty exciting. Jerry Laffer, D.M.D, President of the US Dental Tennis Assoc. visited with us for 3 days, as well as delivering 2 hours of very informative CME. We are trying to plan a joint meeting with the dentists. Brad Poncher, General Manager of Smoke Tree Ranch, also spent 3 days with us and made a wonderful slide presentation of Smoke Tree.
