The Hyatt Hotel at Newport Beach was a lovely site of the California January meeting. Flowers were blooming and sun was shinning. We walked from our hotel room,across a putting green to the courts of the Newport Beach Tennis Club where the 1997 Davis Cup was held - thus a great center court! And some heavy hitters showed up to use the center court. Ham Sah and Bob Ouwenkijk duked it out for the men's final with Ham Sah prevailing in 3 sets, using elbow and knee braces!!!
