Longboat Key Club

Longboat Key, FL

October 31 – November 5, 2015

The-Tennis-Gardens-(3)Tennis rackets in one hand and beach towels in the other, AMTA members will head to the west coast of Florida for the Fall 2015 meeting – October 31 to November 5 – at Florida’s famed Longboat Key, a lush barrier island just off the coast of Sarasota. The Longboat Key Club Resort was a popular site for the AMTA’s East Coast meetings over a decade ago; since then the resort has been completely refurbished, but its relaxed tropical allure remains the unchanged.

Bordered on the west by the Gulf of Mexico and on the east by Sarasota Bay, the tranquil island teems with wildlife and boasts pristine white sand beaches and numerous world-class amenities. In addition to its award-winning Tennis Gardens with 20 Har-Tru courts, Longboat Key Club Resort offers 45 holes of championship golf and a 291-slip deep-water marina, plus a nearby marine aquarium, botanical gardens and art museum.

Longboat Key is easily accessible from two international airports and was recognized in 2014 as a top resort worldwide by Travel and Leisure magazine.

We are partnering with another group of tennis-playing physicians to host the meeting, so room availability is somewhat limited. You’ll want to make your reservations early!
